"Quoted £95 for a trip to Addington and Bromley. I wondered if this was standard for the area and hopefully not down to train strikes etc, however Uber luckily accepted a journey after turning down paying the extortionate amount, they charged £48 for two stops. The gap in price should just not be that different in my opinion."

"I called for a quote on 27th Dec. When surprised that I couldn’t get a booking for New Year’s Eve I was told other “clever” people had booked in advance. Not impressed by how rude this was. When living within London I’ve had the luxury of booking a cab on demand. I allowed several days notice to make this booking enquiry. I don’t believe this makes me stupid. Advice to the taxi company is to treat the public with more respect. Thank you for responding to my review. I’m unable to reply to the review so adding a line here. The issue I had was the implication that I am ‘Not clever’ by calling other callers “clever”. I recommend a different use of language to convey what the call handler was trying to say. What was actually said was insulting."
