About the Business
At Serenity Specialist Care, we understand that choosing the right care home can be a daunting experience. That's why we strive to create an environment that not only looks and feels like home, but also promotes your independence and respects your dignity.
Located in the heart of Solihull, our establishment is just a short walk from local shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as the town's main train station. Our building, Dominion Court, is a beautifully restored Victorian villa that still retains many of its original features, including high ceilings, stained glass windows and ornate cornices.
We specialize in providing care for those who require additional support due to age or disability. Our team of experienced and compassionate carers is on hand 24/7 to provide tailored support to each individual based on their needs, preferences and goals. This support can range from assistance with daily living tasks such as washing and dressing, to more complex medical support for those with conditions such as dementia or Parkinson's.
Serenity Specialist Care is not just a place to live, it's a community. We believe that social interaction and engagement is vital to maintaining good physical, emotional and mental health, so we offer a range of activities, events and outings for our residents to enjoy. These can include music and dance sessions, arts and crafts, gardening, nature walks or simply socializing with other residents and staff.
We understand that the decision to move into a care home can be a difficult one, which is why we encourage potential residents and their families to come and visit us at Dominion Court, to see our facilities and meet our friendly staff. We aim to create a home from home for our residents, where they can feel comfortable, supported and cared for, whatever their needs may be.

Reviews
"Serenity Specialist Care is a specialist children's home care provider that meets the needs of young people in care. They ensure staff are fully compliant to OFSTEDs requirements and can commit to their homes for consistency before they are booked in for shifts, as they work in the best interest of the young people in their homes, and are very passionate about training and career development for all their staff."
"If you are looking at this review before you become an employee, in my experience I suggest you run for the hills. I interviewed for a job all was going well until I asked a simple question at the end, the mans response was seriously unprofessional and damn right rude. I left the interview thinking if the talk to me like that imagine how the treat their staff. Also they then ghosted me after the interview seriously unprofessional AVOID"
"I have stayed at that home for 3 months and it hasn’t been pleasant. Staff were abusive and didn’t understand mental health and just said it was bad behaviour when it isn’t. They drove me to hurt myself even more as they knew I have had trauma in my life and they made my life a misery(most of the staff). I couldn’t even do many activities or even go for a daily walk. Most staff were rude and unhelpful and definitely full of themselves. Certain staff there should be sacked. The house was dirty, disgusting and more like a clinic than a home. I hope to never have contact with them again."
"Staff are known to go above and beyond with their care. I visited one of their homes in Birmingham and it was very accommodating and a nurturing environment."
"The staff there should have gone to specsavers. They can't seem to handle reading a list."
