Reviews of Forward Thinking Birmingham
"Very bad experience with one specific nurse who was caring for my son. There’s no compassion and they are very rude. This is the team based at Finch Road. Someone need to intervene to stop these arrogant rude and unprofessional people from looking after vulnerable young adult. Majority of them got no care or compassion. There are too many service users who share the same experience with this organisation. There are a few nice ones there. This should not be allowed to continue. This is why birmingham mental health service is failing. It’s not about the care or compassion. It’s just a pay check for these workers."
"Been waiting on a diagnosis over a year later with no support or clear time frames given as to when this will move forward. Every time I try and call and ask for an update I am put on hold and have been told today “you’re still on the waiting list..there’s nothing I can really do”. A tiring, frustrating and pretty useless system."
"I can not believe how I have been spoken to today........I am RGN /RegisteredMidwife since 1988 and have never experienced such unproffesionalism. Rude obtuse argumentative dismissive totally uncaring and arrogant . Following my interaction with this organisation today I will have no further contact with them. What qualifies these incompetent people to provide a caring mental health service is beyond me. Thankfully my child wasnt exposed to the experience that I encountered .I will seek alternative support from softly spoken caring professionals !"
"If I could leave no stars I would, my child was referred by GP in March 2022 still waiting for help. no one informed me that my daughter was discharged twice, I found out by calling there. I phoned every week for help and was fobbed off, they should have the contract taken from them they are not fit for purpose. An absolute disgrace. And meanwhile young people are suffering, shame on you."
"Not good. Called saying I was really struggling and was really at the end of my hope. They referred me to the crisis team and they are even worse! Wouldn’t call me when supposed to.would come on home visits and just say it’s okay, give me meds and leave. Really appalling services considering it’s a mental health team!"
