"I have been taking my car(s) to Zek's since first opened for MOT, and service. So far I have only received excellent service and advise. The mechanics are knowledgeable, professional and good at explaining what the problem is and what needs to be done. Most importantly I go to Zek's because I trust them. I know that when they say there is a problem or not they have done their job properly and they are NOT trying to make money as others do. Recently my car needed major repairs, they gave me a very good price for it and during the repairs they were very helpful, kept me well informed of the progress and explained every step. I Felt I was in good hands. If you are looking for a garage that is honest, knowledgeable and professional ZEK MOT'S is the one !"

"this is my sad experience in this garage. I requested an MOT test on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. I arrived by car on time, and I was told that it would take an hour and a half because they had another car to test and it would take 20-25 minutes (this means that at 14:30 my car is ready); I was told a price of £40. okay At 1:45 p.m., they called me that the car had problems with the exhaust gases. I told them on the phone that I would arrive at the garage in 10 minutes. Said and done. They explained to me the error of the car and how they fixed the problem by cleaning the exhaust with... (they know how and when, "the mechanic's story") and that the price is £180, much more than the set price. I don't understand how they managed to do the test in 20 minutes when the test takes at least 40 and they also cleaned the exhaust to then test again? Obviously I did not accept the price because I only requested an MOT test. They didn't have my permit for a repair. I told the guy at the reception that I don't accept to pay anything above the agreed price, and he called another person (without common sense, uneducated, vulgar) who came and started insulting me saying that he would call the police, for intimidation. I agreed for the police to come, but they stopped calling when I told them I was calling the customer protection department. I paid the amount granted and left. The choice belongs to everyone. I didn't pay attention to the negative comments! which existed. I don't recommend stopping by: Zek MOT's Mead Road Edgware, not even for a glass of water!"

"Ended up taking my car here after a different garage had overcharged me and still didnt know what the problem was, they were able to quickly identify where the problem could be and were very transparent as to why he thought that and showed me too. Also was able to repair the damage rather that just buying new components. They will have my business for the foreseeable future"
