"Tried to use this garage to investigate a problem they diagnosed with the car! The receptionist was incredibly unhelpful and told me to take my business elsewhere. Cheers for nothing"
"Great place ..seem very honest and transparent.they were also quite fast fitting my new brakes ...price ok too. Definitely recommend them."
"I recently had the timing chain replaced by AutoQuick as it had slipped. I can’t praise or recommend this garage high enough. This is the second time I’ve used them (first time alternator replaced) and their service has been both fast and more importantly very thorough. Everyone who works there is friendly and they keep you updated with what is being done. Excellent service, thank you very much guys."
"I contacted this company Thursday late to equine about an urgent repair. They asked me to come early Friday morning, which I did, and I can’t praise the speed and service enough. They provided an excellent service, were knowledgeable and very quick, and got me back on the road in no time at all with no fuss. I couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks again."
"I took my car here simply to have the air con repaired (I wasn't sure if it needed re-gassing or a leak fixing as well). They called me up to say I would need to pay extra to have a leak fixed, which I agreed to. I could only get there to collect my car after work, so it was just as they were closing. When I drove off, there was an unhealthy-sounding humming noise coming from the bonnet. I assumed it would be the air con fan or something that may have been altered, and (quite stupidly) didn't actually check under the bonnet. I took the car back the next day to show them the noise, at which point we opened the bonnet and saw that the air intake tube had completely fallen off and into the fan as shown in the pictures. The noise had been the fan gradually grinding down the tube. I can only assume that the tube must have had some kind of loose connection, and a mechanic accidentally knocked it off while doing the air con work. They first of all denied that this damage was done by them - even though it only started happening immediately after I left their garage. Then they simply said it didn't matter - that I could just use it as is, and they fixed the tube back in with a screw. They refused to give any refund this time round. After a couple of days the air con also stopped working, so I went back there to see if they could either fix it properly or give me a refund, however instead I was told that there is a leak and the entire radiator would need replacing in order to fix it. Again I was refused any kind of refund, even though at this stage I've not only not had my air con repaired, but I've also had my car more damaged then when I originally took it in (and just to top it off I was charged extra for "fixing a leak" which was clearly never fixed). Also seems unprofessional that a completely different conclusion has now been made about the air con then the initial fix - why wasn't I told about this radiator issue the first time round? After being refused a refund by the member of staff behind the desk, I asked him to call the manager. The member of staff showed no signs of caring at all, and I could hear him telling the manager some of the details of what had happened, but not properly explaining everything. After the call he told me I could have a 50% refund for just the base air con fix (not even including the additional cost I paid to have the "leak fixed"). I was outraged but he refused to call the manager again, so that's how I've left it. So to summarize, I've paid to not have my air con fixed, to have my air intake tube broken (but is "fine to drive"...), and above all I've paid to have this happen to my car... Not to mention I've had to go to this garage 6 times (collecting and dropping off), and waste a lot of time speaking to various members of staff. I will 100% avoid this garage, and would massively encourage others to do the same."
