"First visit today with sister and daughter. All 3 meals were fabulous. Meat cooked to perfection with no fat or gristle, chips were hot and crisp, sides delicious. Compliments to the chef. Service staff very helpful and friendly. We needed wheelchair access and they made us very welcome. Travelled from the Midlands and will definitely eat there again when next visiting. Thoroughly recommend."

"Went for my birthday on the weekend. The older guy behind the bar was not the politely when he asked what we wanted to drink he was getting inpatient while I decided despite me saying I wasn't ready. I will pit it down to the heat as he did look far to hot. The other staff especially the you lady was very nice and friendly. The food - my stake was very over cooked! I asked for medium and it was well done not a hint of pink in it and very dry I got the triple threat challa ge and the rest was very nice. My friend got the same and her stake was cooked OK and she said it was nicer then mine ( she tried my steak). My husband and friend got the mixed grill. One of there stakes was over cooked and they both said the chicken was flavourless and watery. Its a shame as we went a couple week before and it was very nice and staff were great."

"The recently refurbished pub looks really good, staff is friendly and polite. The food was excellent, arrived relatively quickly. Great value for money and a great addition to the area. We will definitely return to try more of the menu."
