"Disgusting staff, laughing loud, banging and just making up a lot of noise when patients are sleeping or resting. Most of the staff on their phones and quickly try to put it away when they see you- although some blatantly carry on. They leave food out to go cold without waking patients then collect it knowing the patient hasn't eaten!! Even worse they leave medication on the table not even offering them with a drink and anybody can pick them up! No wonder they love it when no visitors are allowed, i dread to see the nights there. Disgusting staff disgusting hospital, including the ward manager!"
"A&E staff work immensely hard. Sometimes a dry sense of humour to help them cope with the pressures, but they all have their hearts in helping the patients. Despite abuse, they stand up and carry on and do their jobs to help the patients in the best way that they can. It is not easy for them, but they have all been so good and from my experience, they have the patients needs at heart."
"I came here for an operation and stayed the night. The staff were some of the nicest people you could ever meet, all of them! They took exceptional care of me it honestly felt like a hotel stay. Thanks to all of them. Long live the NHS."
"Ministers really need to be made to come to an A&E dept when they need medical attention, wait like everyone else and experience the 9 hour wait my 89yr old Mother had. Was given her diagnosis in a small cubicle while 4 other patients where in the same cubicle, no privacy at all. 1 Doctor on duty. Where exactly is all this extra money going. My guess from last night, is to managers and not on the ground staff. Do the nursing staff on Priory 4 have to be so rude. Being courteous and polite works both ways"
"I would have given zero if possible after a 6 hour wait was told that my son will need to come back in the morning as their doctors have called in sick!! can't they organize and get locums in, absolute joke staff who have no consideration for the people waiting to be seen. If there is an issue let people know early so then they can decide either stay or try another hospital not have them sitting around wasting their time."
