"Well situated. Vibrant and fun. Menu was good, something for everyone. Drinks are a bit expensive. Lovely area out the front to drink, even in the winter, blankets supplied. A good find."

"Very disappointing afternoon tea at a 4 star hotel Novotel. We booked an afternoon tea for 2 through Groupon, expected to have a quality afternoon tea in a well known 4 stars hotel Novotel Manchester City centre. Very disappointed that it only served basic sandwiches - ham, eggs and smoked salmon. The cakes was like those bought from supermarkets. Portion was small. The most unbelievable was afternoon tea did NOT come with a cup of tea!! The tea set we ordered was including two glasses of Prosecco, I thought it would also include a pot of tea just like any other restaurants but it didn’t. It was possibly the worst afternoon tea I had ever had across the UK."

"Went here with a wowcher deal 2 course brunch and bottomless prosecco for 90 mins booking was easy you just rang up to arrange when to go just check what time it finishes so you get the full 90 minutes got there 15 mins early but they let us in chef came and spoke to us to explain the food i had eggs benedict with salmon which was 2 eggs and my mum had avocado on toast with bacon which was 2 pieces of toast thick layer of avocado and 2 thick slices of bacon on each slice of toast with a little side salad both delicious and the ingredients were fresh for dessert we both had pancakes with fruit delicious the waitress who served us was very good and served us prosecco regularly when the 90 minutes was up she came round for the final time topped up the glasses and said that it was finished which was good there was also a complimentary glass of water with lemon would definitely recommend and come back again"

"Smart restaurant which compliments the hotel. You can’t go wrong with a sirloin steak and the Exchange lounge doesn’t beer far from tried and tested. The flavour was satisfying. Crisp and charred outside with a rare interior that home cooking struggles to achieve. The flavour might have been better with a day or 2 of aging and a wee bit more peppercorns in the sauce but I’m nitpicking. My go to bearnaise sauce was unavailable but I’m nitpicking. Chips were perfection and the front of house and waitstaff sparkling enough to warrant a tip."

"Great food and drinks here. Didn't realise that anyone could walk in although it's attached to a hotel. Great chilled out vibe but with a classier feel. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. The service was second to none"
