"Wow - what a wonderful experience. My partner , little daughter and I met our friends and their little girl there today and felt the need to leave this review … Waitresses were full of character , fun smiles and , professionalism and just lovely with our girls. And then the manager / guy waiter came and spent time with them and just made the whole experience lovely. Very very good food , fried chicken burger , burger , mac and cheese , fish and chips and all desserts all AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back here again. Many thanks Becky and family"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Horse & Groom. Great looking gastropub with hearty portions of food. Burgers were really filling…didn’t need the starter. I think the best part was the service which was very friendly and accommodating. Makes a big difference. Would definitely recommend this place."

"I saw that the reviews for this venue were really good and so we chose this venue on our way back from Howlett's wildlife park. It was delightful. Thank you to our server Clara, super efficient and lovely to boot. Food is delicious. We had the Spich Chicken Burger and the Chicken Kebabs. Delicious, finished off with a glass of Pinot. Lovely afternoon spot, smart feel without feeling over done, super relaxing atmosphere too."

"I popped into The Horse & Groom for dinner with a friend. It is unrecognisable since I was last there a few years ago. The pub has been completely refurbished and is a great environment for drinks and good food. The food is homemade, delicious and reasonably priced. The chicken wings and hummus starters were excellent. The Horse & Groom burger was brilliant and my friend, Mike, thoroughly enjoyed his lamb kleftico dish. Gracie looked after us well and we will certainly be back again soon."
