Reviews
"Just wanted to update on my old review. As always a great selection of cask, keg and ciders plus the more exotic cans and bottles in the fridge. From IPAs to sours and stouts, the Belle has it all. They do have a wide selection of gins and mixers too so if that's your bag you'll be satisfied with what they've got."
"Really disappointed. We've been coming here since it opened. On Friday evening, after buying our pints, we realised there was a dog on a seat, with it's mouth over the table. After telling the bar staff one of us was asthmatic and had been hospitalised by dog induced asthma attacks, we had to down our pints outside on the pavement in the cold. We saw the same staff member inside in the warmth, and they were petting the dog. Very unhygienic, and not really sensible allowing dogs (except guide dogs) into pubs, especially, when they're busy. Dogs get excited, and if you allow one, you could get several. Which is very disruptive. Sad being asthmatic and dog sensitive, yet another pub we're now excuded from. Because dogs take priority, even though they don't buy anything. Dog owners often blame other people, when it's them inflicting their dogs on others in confined spaces."
"Truly superb art deco-styled micropub boasting an excellent range of cask beers in impeccable condition. BV London Pub of the Year 2021-22."
"Nice venue, handily near a station. Quick visit, had two beers, a lush 12% Imperial stout, and a 7% jamy IPA. Well worth a visit. I did note one person on their mobile, and someone brought their grandchild... Somethings that I thought weren't encouraged in the micropub movement... Having said that, these didn't cause any bother this time..."
