Reviews of Cusworth Hall Museum & Park
"Beautiful Hall and grounds, has a nice lake to walk around and then a great coffee shop for food and drink. You can go inside the Hall and explore the history of the place too. Ice cream van is usually in the car park and there is a playground for young kids too, highly recommended"
"A Doncaster gem! Beautiful and peacefull the gardens are nice, the lake walks are superb. Plenty of wildlife to see including fish, insects, dragonflys, ducks, swans and herons. Cafes are superb, the blueberry, lemon and coconut tray bake was amazing! The house is brilliant!"
"First visit. Great place to have a walk. The gardens are lovely . There's a decent cafe that does hot and cold food. Some of the paths are quite steep so not suitable for wheelchairs but my wife managed with her disability scooter. Parking is quite cheap £1.50 for 2 hours but card only no cash accepted. Didn't manage to tour the hall so I don't know what that's like, we'll save the hall for a rainy day."
"Beautiful place! The parking is very cheap, it was around £1 an hour or so. Very small car park though so be prepared if it's a sunny day to circle around a few times. Beautiful view, small park for kids next to the car park, and an ice cream van was parked up there when we arrived. Parking meters take card payment. Pay and display parking. The house is free to enter and rich in history, absolutely wonderful. Lovely walk around the house, dogs must be kept on leads. There is a cafe that offers cakes, bakes, hot drinks, and light nibbles like sandwiches. In regards to cost, a desert of chocolate concrete that comes with custard/cream/ice cream was around £5.75 for reference. There was another place to get food near the toilet area, they offered pizza breads, of similar cost to the cafe food. This is a must visit spot, especially on a sunny day!"
