"Decent Wetherspoon’s on Peckham High Street. Seven cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a black IPA. Incredibly cheap real ale; my pint was £2.26. A few tables outside some of them covered. The name of this pub recalls the inn which stood on the other side of High Street. Dating from at least the late 1700s, it was named after the cattle drovers who passed through Peckham on their way to Smithfield Market."
"Quite a different spoons - inside and out. Nothing like the usual spoons frontage and the inside suggests an old building with a different history. A small outdoor area off the rear. The pub was clean and tidy and well patronised when we were there with the usual seating options available although mainly low tables and booths. The staff were friendly and the Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar"
"I visited here for breakfast a couple of times, and it was really good, and endless coffee really steals the deal. The only trouble with it is the idiot customers, one of which had a lame attempt at chatting up my GF (only when I went to the toilet) and on another occasion an absolute idiot who thought he was something special giving it large to his very embarrassed GF about what a tough guy he was...and this was at about 0930 . Gotta love the good folk of Peckham. Otherwise food and the staff were both good."
