"I've been coming here since it opened. Loved the fact it showed sports, loved the happy hour they used to run (and understand fully why that doesn't happen). What I don't love, a service charge being sneakily added to my card payment when I order at the bar and when I question it being told "it's policy"; no, what that is is you losing a customer"
"Strongly recommend avoiding. They required a minimum spend of £45pp to watch the football (totally fine, similar to most pubs), you need to pay that deposit up-front (OK understandable to a degree) and then you have to pre-order from a menu with inflated prices e.g., £45 for 6 beers (not disclosed at the time of booking - this felt incredibly dodgy). They then attempted to sit us underneath a screen with half the seats unable to even see a TV, which felt particularly unfair given they charged us £450 for the table. The food was overcooked and pretty miserable, half the beers were 'unavailable' therefore you were forced to choose from the cheaper ones for your pre-paid beers (at inflated prices). The whole experience screamed "I'm trying to fleece as much money from you during the world cup, I don't care if you come back". Strongly strongly recommend avoiding, one of the worst sports bars in London."
"£6.70 for a 330ml bottle of beer. We ordered drinks online and none came, had to go up to the bar every time. The sound wasn’t loud enough, wasn’t the football sound and also table wasn’t big enough for my booking."
"We didn’t have food but some beer after walking around the city. Nice place with some good beer selection. The bartender is very friendly and helpful"
"Craft beers were nice, good spot to watch sport, and great that the shuffle board was free to play. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a let down, £11 for 10 wings, but as you can see from the photo the wings were the smallest I've ever seen. Regards to service, the menu stated the wings come with a blue cheese or ranch dip and celery sticks, neither came with the wings, and when I asked the staff, they said I should have informed them of the sauce I want when ordering, and will bring it out to me shortly. 10 minutes later, whilst my tiny wings were getting cold, I had to ask again, I eventually got the dip only, and didn't bother asking for a third time for the celery sticks. They did only have 2 staff on the floor so may have been understaffed."
