"They used to be a Shepherd Neame pub, but now they have a whole range of different beers. No casks. Their burgers are possibly the best in London. Good atmosphere and nice on-pavement seating in summer (it's there all year round, just a lot nicer in summer)!"

"This pub is my local - and somehow, in central, still feels like it - and sometimes I pop in for a beer and a pie after work. I sometimes go alone and as a young female, pubs like this are important. It’s cosy, friendly, casual and chilled out and I love to come here and people watch with a pie and a pint! People are always friendly and I’ve actually joined other people at their table (by invite) when I’ve attended alone in the past. They also have some alcohol-free beers and the owner seems like a really good guy. Staff always really friendly too."

"Great place with amazing pies. I had the trio of sausage pie and my wife had the pulled chicken, ham and leak pie. Both served with creamy mash and gravy. Warm and friendly service, fantastic staff. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return."

"We ordered through Deliveroo and when I called the restaurant the staff were impeccable. Incredibly kind and very helpful. The food was lovely, we had the vegan New York burger. My friend loved it as is, I personally prefer something with a little more sweetness so having never tried it I opted for the vegan burger sauce. Definitely not a mistake! The sauce is delicious and for me it made the burger even better, although my friend disagrees and thinks it works better than ketchup with the chips. Overall, really could not fault them without making things up. Will definitely be popping in for a drink sometime! Thank you to all of the team!"
