"This has been a great little pub and a little while back I would have given 5 stars, the service, the atmosphere and a great little beer garden/smoking area..the entertainment was great. Sadly a new manager arrived and things changed, the entertainment is now a loud reggae DJ that plays so loud neighbours have apparently complained about noise levels so the garden/smoking area now closes seemingly early, also half the pubs lights get turned off while people are dancing in the dark...you need to pass through that area to get to the toilets. It's really taken the edge off an evenings enjoyment, we really miss the way Nico, the last manager had the place running."

"It is a year since I first started going to this pub. Everything about it was brilliant; the atmospher, the drinks, and the staff. But lately it hasn't been the same. You need to bring back some of the old staff, especially Nico. He was warm, inviting, and funny, and always served with a genuine smile on his face."

"Great pub but unfortunately there were only two ales on when we visited (on a Saturday late afternoon /early evening) and the one we tried (Redemption Pale) was a bit hazy with a definite yeasty taste to it. I must add that I have been here several times in the past and this was the first time the beer hasn't been up to scratch."

"Had a brilliant Sunday lunch at the pub for Father's Day. Great food, excellent service, and lovely, small outdoor area, beautifully planted. They have a traditional Sunday lunch menu, and also cater for vegans and vegetarians. The delicious vegan Wellington pictured."
