"This is one of the pubs we have stopped on our Jubilee walk from Canada Water to Greenwich. The pub is small but is oozing with history as is hundreds of years old. There is a small sitting area at the back which overlooks the river. The staff were approachable and helpful. We have enjoyed a light battered king prawns with sweet chilli sauce with our drinks."

"Lovely pubs with some nice food. We ordered the pie and Thai green curry. Food was very good, fairly decent quantities. We were in the outdoor seating area which was small but nice. Staff were good and accommodating. Prices were reasonable for the area. I would recommend it."

"I had a lovely pub dinner here with my husband. Everything from the starter, to the main course and dessert was sumptuous. I didn’t expect the Salt and Pepper Squid Salad to be so flavourful. It was a delightful surprise. The Beer-Battered Fish and Chips was superb. Really fresh, light and not oily at all. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was still warm when it was served, and the vanilla ice cream that went with it had actual vanilla beans in it. So lush. The restaurant had a cosy ambience and was squeaky clean as well. The servers were all wearing masks and gloves too. Very good COVID safety protocols. I can say that it’s one of the best pubs I’ve been to. I’ll definitely visit again."
