"Another wonderful little pub in the Aldgate area. It's a fairly ordinary sort of place but has a lot going for it. Tables around the walls and comfortable seating in the back but what I really like is that there is so much space in here where you're not bumping into chairs or tables. The Guinness was excellent as was the Black Sheep Best Bitter."

"A really traditional east London pub; complete with anaglypta wallpaper, dart board and seventies-looking jukebox! Staff are friendly and serve a good selection of real ales. Traditional English pub grub is on offer, together with a Thai menu. Definitely worth a visit!"

"A great traditional London pub at the south end of Leman street. Quiet when I visited but a cheerful welcome as I arrived and signed in on the NHS 'Trick or Treat' app. Lovely cold beer on a piping hot day, what more could you want? Cask is on but not all of them just yet. A really pleasant visit. Most certainly worth a stroll if you are in the area."
