Town of Ramsgate

"A beautiful old pub on the river in Wapping. We travelled from Harold Wood (a few of us from Harold Wood Running Club) to go on a 5k run with Wapping running club and met in the pub. We reserved a table for after the run and the staff were absolutely brilliant and so friendly. A couple of our friends stayed in the pub while we ran and they let us leave all our bags and coats. The food we had after the run was absolutely top notch! The chips are to die for! We all had an awesome time and can't wait to go back."

"A place full of history by the river Thames. Is one of the oldest pubs in Wapping with a small but neat beer garden at the back which it does gets busy on warm days. Staff are friendly and the food is excellent too. They have different events nights like pub quiz pie and mash nights and many more? July 2022 Visited the pub again for dinner which we have enjoyed the ham, eggs and chips. The homemade steak and ale pie with the puff pastry top it was well cooked, which it came with buttery mash and vegetables."
