"Nicely refurbished bar slash tap room. Has two sides and a lovely outdoor area-one of the best I’ve seen in a long while! Nice little booths and lots of heaters! It’s covered over at the moment as it’s winter and rainy. Must make it back in the summer and see what it’s like then-hopefully the canopy is down to let the sunshine in!"
"A very good roast indeed. Good gravy and lots of it!! Cauliflower cheese was proper cheesy, yorkies were good, meat very nice and pigs in the blankets - a nice touch. Good selection of tastyales and cider. Lovely staff. Dog friendly. Will be back! I can also confirm rib Tuesday is very good! Burger Thursday is very good too!"
"I initially wrote a review that said the the service was hit and miss, everything else was fanatic. Now, however, it’s the opposite and much to the detriment of the business. I bought a Sunday roast today, plate turned up with the smallest slither of meat - a waiter asked, is everything ok? - I said that’s crazy, they agreed and told me that’s what the staff get as well, the kitchen are trying to save money and my £17 slither wasn’t resolved … I then merrily thought I would fill Up on the Yorkshire pudding that tasted really “eggy” and was abandoned, the rest, the veg and the croquet of sorts were under seasoned and also disregarded - I now have to cook dinner, £17 poorer this evening- it’s a shame, Enfield needs new blood, but this isn’t tolerable"
