"Large, single room corner pub, close to Angel Underground Station. Also a nice seating area out front. Nicholson’s-owned, so a good selection of cask ales and craft beers, but fairly average pub grub. My London Pride was well kept. Gets very busy after work but always plenty of staff, so easy to get served quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Maybe better pubs in the area but a decent option."

"Nice more traditional style pub in the centre of Islington. Great location if you are out shopping or out for the evening. Large bar area, so lots of space with plenty of seating. Good vibe on the evening we were there (earlier in the week), so not sure what it is like when busier?"

"Not bad, decent sized and some outdoor seating. Always seems busy when I go past. Staff are alright, could do with some happiness in the place though, maybe lively background music or something to lighten the mood toward the end of the night. Edit: sorry you guys are disappointed, but i wouldnt say i wasnt satisfied, it just is what it is. If you guys want better ratings you gotta step up your game :)"

"We had just arrived on a red eye and this was our first stop in the UK. Delicious food & beer, lovely atmosphere and great service. Would definitely go back the next time we’re in the area!"
