"Great food quality, tasty and homemade, although portions were a bit small for the price. Lovely atmosphere for both just a pint or a Sunday roast. Good attention and highly recommended to book in advance or won't find a table available. One of those "must to visit" if you go around the area. Definitely worth it."
"Personally I think this is one of the most beautiful inns/pubs in London. Historic venue preserved with care and great taste. Delicious, creamy pints of Guinness followed by hearty, well presented food. My absolute favorite chicken, smoked ham hock and leak pie (don’t look at the calories information though!). Dogs are welcome and it seems all the owners around know it! (Personally love it!) One, not insignificant downside is that this place is a huge operation where if you’re counting on personal service and high level of hospitality you might get very disappointed."
"Place is lovely, pub is beautiful, unique and really charming. The garden space is lovely. Dropping a star cause it's a shame they don't allow you to have a drink inside even though all tables were empty when we arrived and they were still empty when we left. Also the manager that informed us about this was a bit dry, seemed stressed and didn't give the warmest welcome"
