"A big pub next to Finsbury Park station. The 12 pins is a good welcoming establishment offering a wide range of keg beers and ciders. A fine pub menu too, particularly the chalkboard featuring today's specials. Plenty of empty plates heading back to the kitchen. No cask ales visible. A good place to visit unless you are after real ales. Certainly a lovely place to have a pint and food."
"Don’t go here. The landlady is so rude. We walked into the pub to watch the football and found an empty table near the big screen. We ordered 3 non-alcoholic drinks (lime and soda) and were told if we don’t order alcohol we need to move because we have “the best seats in the house”. We then had to ask around if anyone wanted to swap seats and everyone thought it was ridiculous and discriminatory. Nobody even wanted our seats. We then sat in an empty booth and was told that was for 8 people only. It’s not like we were drinking tap water, we were buying something they were selling but because it wasn’t alcoholic they wanted us to hide from plain sight. We should be allowed to enjoy the atmosphere of football in a pub without being forced to drink alcohol."
"Older manager lady was clearly racist. Came in to watch the Arsenal game with my friends and before halftime the woman came up to me and told me I had to buy a drink if I wanted to stay there. I looked around and saw many people without drinks in hand, but maybe because I was the only black person. I told her I didn’t drink and she brought up the fact they had food and soft drinks, but when my friend asked the bar for a club soda earlier they didn’t have any. My friend who is white and from London got so uncomfortable with her approaching me the way she did that he wanted to leave. Don’t go here"
