"This is really one of the last traditional pubs. Lovely, friendly staff, particularly Pat, are amazing. They held my Dad’s wake there as it was his local and they went above and beyond. Thank you."

Landlord knows how to run a pub - serves people in order ( not locals first) and staff keep an eye on who's next in line to be served , sounds obvious, but that's rare these days - Proper decent boozer ."
"This is one of the last old pubs in the area, the juke box has a great selection of music genre. The staff are very friendly and are welcoming to new faces, there's pool darts and a bit of a sing song sometimes, also great chilled wines and prossecco all at reasonable prices, enjoy"
