"Nice local pub, walked in with no reservation, friendly obliging bartender, ordered a few beer at the bar and wine, selection was fine. Had fish and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding, food was basic but good. Friendly atmosphere."
"A pub that doesn't serve beer? This place used to be fine, but nowadays they are CONSTANTLY out of almost all the beers they purport to have on tap. Typically, none of the real ales are on, none of the keg ales, and most of the lagers are off too. So despite having a wide range of taps, you end up with a choice of just a couple of lagers and some bottled beers. What's the point? Better to head to the Queen's Arms, or down the road towards the tube station."
"The location is great, and the place looks beautiful. It looks like it would have great atmosphere for some drinks. Unfortunately the food is hit or miss - the fish and chips weren't great and tasted like microwaved fish fingers. The water glasses also were not completely clean and neither was my dish. The food also took at least 45 minutes to arrive."
"We booked online for a specific time, we we're welcomed and the table was ready for us when we arrived. I downloaded the app without any issues, staff offered to help with our orders in case we ran into a glitch. Drinks arrived promptly, the food arrived warm. Excellent quality and as expected from a pub in a prime location. The interior is charming, a truly British ambience. The Greene King IPA ale is delicious. Fish and chips is tasty. Price range in this pub is as expected. They have outside seating. There is a step from the pavement into the premises and also another step to go to the toilet level. One thing to consider for wheelchair users and with prams. There is another entrance on the side, not sure if this is a step-free entrance. All staff we encountered were nice and friendly. I can go back here again without second thoughts. Lovely experience."
