"Cute and lovely place. Classic neighborhood pub. Simple and tasty dishes and friendly staff. There aren't many electrical outlets so the staff helped us and connected the phone to the charger at the counter."

"I used to visit regularly almost 20 years ago. The interior decor has changed since then of course. But the grated gas fire still flickers upon arrival. And the atmosphere is still relaxing & absorbing. 'Wellington's Boots' hang from the ceiling."

"A delightful, simple and friendly pub offering a fine selection of beers both keg and cask. Service is bright and cheerful. The eponymous Duke is celebrated here with pictures adorning the walls and a fireplace, perhaps similar to the one whence his violin was consigned. The rest, as they say is history. A lovely pub to Pop into for a drink or two."
