"This cosy little pub is in a perfect location a short block from Hyde Park. The beer, service, and food are all first rate. I had a salmon and guac sandwich for lunch, and returned the next evening for fish & chips. The bartender offered me tasters to help me with my beer pairing, and though they were understaffed this evening, they managed to keep customers happy."
"Had a fabulous dinner and drinks here yesterday. Nice atmosphere (even with the derby day football on!). Food was very nice, dessert also lovely and well presented. Warm welcome when we came in, great service - always checking in with us. Good range of gins also! Lady was quite knowledgeable about the range of drinks and made sound recommendations for some of our party! Would definitely recommend the Leinster Arms! (Photo is my friends of her dessert so may also appear on another review if they make one)"
"Cosy pub with friendly staff (even for dumb tourists that don't know how things work, like me) I had sausages with mashed potatoes and it was good and honest, gravy was surprisingly good, best I had in my week in London, though not burning hot. Dessert had vanilla ice cream instead of the announced caramel, but what does that matter when it tastes deliciously with my sticky toffee pudding? Large screens showed sports, so if you need to catch the game, this will do it for you."
"Very nice pub with great food. It is worth the wait!! Great selection of beers and a very nice atmosphere. But be aware, this is a pub, so that means self-service. The food is broughth to your table but the beer you have to get yourself and most important: salt, pepper, ketchup and mustard is self-service as well. You might expect that on the table or have it delivered with the food but you have to get that yourself. (why the German family on the next table had it brought to their table and the other patrons not will remain a secret)."
"Friendly enough staff with 5ish (not very interesting) ales on but their fish and chips is quite possibly the worst I've ever had from a pub - the portion size of both the peas and the tarter sauce were miniscule; there was a (also tiny) compulsory condiment of ketchup (if they'd asked, I would have gone for something else); both sauces served deep inside small ceramic cups making what little there was almost inaccessible and the all too common pub truck of drowning the whole thing in far too much salt. At £13 I can honestly say I've had much better fish and chips for less money elsewhere."
