"Not the best service from the waitress she came across as confrontational. Also really uncomfortable atmosphere. Met all the girls from work here for food and drinks and I can honestly say it was one of my least enjoyable evenings. 2 separate incidents from male patrons and an unfriendly server, not a great impression for a first time visitor sorry to say I won’t be back."

"Great English pub! We came in for lunch and a beer. The beer was good but the thai was better. While there the locals all showed up to watch a game of rugby on the big screens. It was a great atmosphere and everyone was very friendly. If I'm ever back in the area I'll be sure to pop in for a quick pint."
"The Hope Pole is located in the heart of Wandsworth, just a couple of minutes away from Wandsworth part and Wandsworth town center. The Hope Pole is a typical pub British pub. It is well decorated and it feels cosy. It has a small but nice beer garden and it is fantastic for having a bite and for drinking a good beer. When it comes to food, the pub offers a fantastic Thai menu and the classic Pub food. This time I went for the Thai menu. The menu offers a good variety of Thai dishes, all freshly made. Portions are decent and price is OK. When it comes to service, staff are friendly and chatty. Always happy to help. I do highly recommend to visit this pub."
