"The maid of muswell really is a treat for the taste buds, great food, great waiting time ( if you can call it waiting ) and to top it off wonderful service! Very clean, friendly and professional pub."

"The pub has a nice atmosphere but we were very disappointed with the food. Ordered 2 of same starters but on being brought one were only told at that point there was not enough left for 2. We were not offered another choice but had to ask for it. Main courses were brought over before we had finished our starters and after asking for a vegan dish were brought over a non vegan version. Had to wait for the dish to be brought out again which meant that we we never able to eat our courses together at the same time. It was overly busy but we had someone constantly coming over to check if we had finished our drinks/meals which is a little off-putting when you are trying to have a quiet night out. We didn't really receive a particularly sincere apology or even a complimentary drink to compensate."

"A spontaneous visit having seen the pub from over the road. Blown away by the visuals of the pub. It's clearly had a lot of love put into the appearance and the place was spotless on the inside. Ended up having a couple of pints from the IPA selection and the burger. A little on the pricey side for me but in terms of quality of food and service I can't fault it. Looking forward to coming back! Edit: Came back and it was just as good!!"

"First time here for a late lunch today. Wasn’t to busy. had table service and the staff I met was friendly and lovely. The food though was not as great. The salad that came with the Korean fried chicken looked like it has been left out for hours; the edges of the vegetables had dried. Also looked like the pre mixed salad from the supermarket. The seafood linguine portion was decent; but unfortunately did not taste of seafood or tomatoes. Not a great first impression on the food. The outside tables are very cosy, has wooden booths that sits 4 comfortably. The outside was dog friendly, unsure about inside. Will check next time."
