"Great Friendly Pub. Great Buzz. Can get very busy understandably. Was hankering for a Sunday Roast unfortunately they ran out of Roast Beef at 3pm which was a shame as the Roast Chicken was not all that great. Staff and service were great though. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area"
"Only one star, because we waited for our food so so long, the starters did not arrive at the same time, the main was another 1.5 hr wait, really disappointed, staff were not attentive until we alerted the manager, who kindly did not charge us for our drinks and one of the starters due to the long wait, which was greatly appreciated. Yes it was a Saturday evening, but nevertheless, with the prices we have to pay for food in a restaurant, no excuse, won't come back again. So sorry, as it is a nice pub!"
"There are some really interesting twists on traditional pub grub. We managed to walk in and get a seat. There were not many soft drinks available but we were catered for by the staff who made a non alcoholic cocktail for us which was very nice. We were told they are developing more non alcoholic options. The price of the food for the quality is very good. Will visit again."
