Reviews of The Old Ship Hammersmith
"Love this place! Great atmosphere and interior and terrace - super beautiful on a sunny day. Also have AC if you don’t fancy the heat. Food a bit pricey but amazing quality! Probably the best fish I’ve ever had, so definitely worth it"
"Beautiful setting. Amazing views of the Thames *** BUT **** Food was tasteless - the burger had no flavour & it wasn’t just us. Several people where we sat left over 1/2 their food Staff were very friendly & chatty but unless the food improved I couldn’t recommend going back We did mention to the waitress about the tasteless burger she was helpful but forgot to come back Toilets are super clean"
"What better way to spend the day! We managed to get a table right along the front and spent the next 4 or so hours having a leisurely lunch and drinks. Food was wonderful - the cauliflower tempura was a real delight and the roast dinner (we had chicken and beef) delicious. If I was being picky I would have liked the pigs in blankets that the menu said came with the roast chicken. A great spot to people watch, chat and relax."
"Such a lovely little hidden gem and a classic English pub, I went there on the hottest day of the year, it was peaceful, not overly busy and the air con was such a treat. Friendly staff, excellent food and a long list of drinks. The location sits by the Thames and if you want something a little less busy, then this place is perfect for that. You also have a choice of sitting inside and outside. If you're coming by tube, get the district line to Ravenscourt Park. It's a short walk, and make sure you access under the subway from the main road from walking down. I would recommend both the fish and chips + the burger as seen in the pictures, tasty and super fresh too. Solid A***** LDT x"
"Classic English pub. Lovely location just in front of the river. Perfect on a sunny weekend. And there is a little patch of green just next to it if you fancy laying down under the trees. Classic pub food."
