"Cozy place along the water in the laid back neighbourhood of Chiswick. Decoration is nice, and the place has a feel of ancient UK, a place where time stood still. The Sunday roast is copious and pretty good, although pretty simple also. Price seems to be a bit on the higher side. 4 stars because it's good but not exceptional. Would definitely not mind coming back there!"

"Lovely pub right on the riverbank in Chiswick. The tables outside overlooking the river are only available on FCFS basis, but they have a few nice river view tables inside as well. The management was nice enough to give us one of these tables even though our reservation was for the tables facing the carpark. Coming to food, the lamb shoulder was lovely. Nice mint chutney, and some of the best potatoes I have tasted. The Yorkshire pudding could do with some improvement. Pork belly and Sea Bream Fillet were nice as well, as was the Tempura Softshell crab."

"We had friends visiting from the Midlands and took them to our favourite pub on the Strand on the Green end of the Thames! Great menu and lovely staff. Never had a bad meal or experience. Beautiful interiors and a few premium tables next to the river for outdoor weather. On this occasion had a Sunday roast but the fish and chips aren't to be missed! Best in W4!"
