"Forgive me my lovely Italy for saying this, but Peroni here is better than in Milan. It's so extremely fresh that I couldn't refrain myself from six pints of this nice beverage. Fish and chips is also good. I want to thank my son who discovers for me this favourite place."
"If you are planning to have a decent meal at Millers Tap don’t even bother. We spent £40 as a table and this is what we received. We found a table, had glasses on it. Sat down but no-one offered to wipe it down. my partner placed an order for a burger turns out it was out of stock so they offered a different one. It took about 30 minutes to be told about this, then another 20 minutes past and food arrived. I understand it’s not a 5 star restaurant but if we are paying for a meal I would like to have food on the plate. Whoever is playing up really should think about portions. 10 chips is not enough for an adult. Also can the manager look into placing an order for produce that you NEED to cook the meals as provided on the menu. Will not be going again, I would of been better off going to the Good Yarn!"
"The bar staff are friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is nice, but the food.... If you're coming for a drink, you'll be fine. The food is worth avoiding though as it's overcooked and low effort. We ordered a salad and what turned up was literally just lettuce with jackfruit on top. After we sent it back, it cameback with 3 slices of tomato, one sun-dried tomato and some onion."
"Set your expectations; Miller's Tap is a great sports pub with massive screen, screens at some of the tables, a bright decor with nice layout and a good selection of draughts. The food is what you expect when it works out at £12 per person but, it bordered on complaint-worthy for us today. 1st whinge. No pomegranate seeds or coriander with the halloumi "skewers" (not a skewer in sight) and someone took their eye off the timer because, as you can see in the photo, they were a tad crunchy. The limp, wet lettuce did not help the presentation but we quickly scoffed 2 of the 3 bites so it wasn't inedible. 2nd whinge. The menu led us to believe the burger was "served with a sticky bbq sauce and topped with Nachos". It turns out you can only have the nachos as a replacement for the chips! We still had to chase up a small pot of the bbq sauce and were glad we got it because, as you can see in the photo, the burger and bun were a little over cooked and really needed the moisture. If they were mad busy I could understand. This is a grey Sunday afternoon and it was half full. Bonus point - decent portion of chips and plenty of table condiments to dip them in. Good munching if you're having a few drinks and a great atmosphere when sport is on. If you're big on food quality, this might be best left until you're looking for something to soak up the booze on a night out."
