Reviews of Queens Head Uxbridge
"Beautiful pub old pub, friendly staff who go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible or find a compromise that suits everybody. Charming chef. Beautiful rustic decor. Even a lovely crowd of regulars ready with a smile and a joke. Well worth a visit."
"Green King pub. Nice pub very close to the town center and high Street. About 2 minutes walk from the station. Plenty of screens for TV viewing. Good service and decent food. Not too expensive either. It was very empty when we visited on Sunday evening."
"Went in for a sandwich and drink whilst shopping on 27th August, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, I paid just over £30 for a bottle or prosecco, fish finger sandwich (which had 5 homemade strips of freshly battered fish) chicken and bacon sandwich (had a whole chicken breast on it!) and a bowl of chips which by today's standards is relatively cheap. Everything was delicious and bar lady was really lovely too. Will definitely go again when I'm next down those ways."
"I’ve just returned from my reunion in Uxbridge where I was based for 5yrs in the RAF but having been away for so long I returned to visit my favourite places to enjoy a nice Cold aperitif or Peroni Italian lager which always tastes good especially chilled I also enjoyed a basket of Chips with salad which I’m happy to say they tasted Devine just how chips should be crisp on the outside and a lovely & soft on the inside . Also would just like to commend the staff at The Queens Head The Chef thank you it was delicious also the Manager Thank You you have a great place may you carry on the fine work , also for the very friendly atmosphere especially the locals it was great to strike up a conversation with John one of its regulars Thank you John for a friendly conversation based on the Military and lastly a lovely barmaid who’s such a cutie & an Angel who’s so lovely & kind her name is Emma who will make you most welcome Thank You Emma & see you soon xxx.
