"Alright price , poor service , they don’t listen to the booking , then drivers want to charge extra for a price already agreed, always late , countless text to confirm booking , but still always late , take bookings and never deliver"

"Woman on the phone was rude and arrogant. I rang to enquire about a taxi and had to make a stop in town on the way to final destination, I didn't specifically state the full address of the stop in town...so the lady on the phone asked me. When I told her where it was she rudely said... "I don't know why people don't just say where they are going as though I'm going to have to look it up". To which I replied "Oh sorry, I don't know where you're based or from"... to which she responded with "Listen love I've been doing this job for 30 years.." and went on with herself from there. She sounded a bit drunk to be honest...I couldn't quite believe how rude she actually was being towards a customer. I was about to say "I'll leave it" and put the phone down. That's how rude she was. Whoever she is, she should remember that answering phones for 30 years in a taxi rank isn't really something to brag about so arrogantly. And also remember who the customer is and who the person answering the phone representing a business is. This review certainly isn't a review of the other staff members or service in general, but does show how one very quick phone call can make a business look so bad."

"On two occasions in the space of two weeks, I used home & away taxi, even though I booked through chadderton cars, but chadderton cars sent home & away, and on both occasions, home & away drivers went the longest route, first time I got taxi from elk mill retail park to crossbank house, cost £4.50, second time I got taxi from B&Q Westwood to Oldham town centre cost £4.50, and yet I can get a chadderton car taxi from B&Q Westwood to Oldham town centre for £3.60, it seems home & away taxi drivers don't take the direct rotue... but I'm aware chadderton cars is sister company of home & away..."

"I always book 2 hours ahead to make sure they collect me at the time I request. They have been 15 minutes late on two occasions. Call the office and they are always 5 minutes away, 10 minutes later and still no sign. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but after the second time I'm afraid I'll be using another service to pre-book a taxi."
