Reviews of Starbucks Coffee
"Coffee is OK, but the experience is not all that, due to the amount of college kids that come in not even buying coffee but all standing around me whilst I'm a paying drinking customer, I had 10 18 year old brats standing around me, the staff say nothing. This wouldn't happen in Costa."
"Very disappointing compared to other branches. Always issues getting the coffee I want. Regularly running out of oat milk, for example. Recently their blonde roast machine was out of service for over a week. Really needs more attention from the owner or manager of the store to avoid these basic issues/be more on top of them. Also, this branch is expensive compared to other stores - grande latte £3.60 compared to the £3.30 I pay in Canary Wharf!"
"Absolutely horrified to witness the treatment of the hardworking staff here. Have come to know the fantastic staff at this branch, over the last few months the staff have changed- though not for the better, as there never seem to be enough people for how busy it is. Always appreciate their hard work, the service, well-made coffee and good company too! Have noticed (what I assume to be?) the owner likes to make it very clear what he thinks of his staff. He is rude, insulting and came across as a bully. Horrified to witness this poor treatment, myself and other customers were incredibly uncomfortable. Shocked to see staff treated so poorly, and by management itself too. Can only imagine how he treats them when customers aren’t present! I’m sure Starbucks wouldn’t be best pleased to see such representation. Would love to give the impeccable baristas 5 stars - as I know he pockets your tips too."
"Like most here, I experienced appalling service from this Starbucks… specifically from Maddie and Mo. Got here at the time it specifies they open on a very cold winter morning. The door was unlocked so I walked in however at the counter I was informed they were closed for another half an hour. There was no apology and in fact Maddie laughed in my face about the situation. The manager Mo informed me that they couldn’t serve me because they were “cashing out from the night before” and he “forgot to lock the front door” whilst handling cash with the front door wide open which was extremely careless and unprofessional putting staff and customers at risk of a robbery. I wouldn’t recommend."
"I have used this shop almost daily and the staff were very polite and the service was good and above all the coffee was nice. Since just before Xmas the staff have changed and although they are polite the coffee is weak (milky) and Luke warm even though I order extra hot and its really not good at all. If it does not change i will have to go elsewhere. I blame the owners they should be in checking it and supervising."
