Worked really well with the insurers and they were happy to go this route, HoodTech communicated with them directly, sorting out issues and queries with them along the way. "Needed a new hood for my Audi R8 Spyder and expected a long journey to get a replacement fitted. "If we could give Charlie 10 stars we would,what a lovely guy he is and what an amazing job he has done on my mini convertible. My lovely Mini Cooper roof had started to look very discoloured,the rubber seal around it was perishing,the chrome trim had seen better days,overall not a good look. We found the HoodTech website and after reading all the 5 star reviews my husband gave Charlie a call.Straight away we felt confident in this guy and booked mini in for a complete new roof,rubber seals and chrome trim. We don't live in Chester but decided to have a couple of nights stay while the work was done. Charlie knew we were from out of town and promised to get mini sorted while we were in Chester. We arranged to drop mini off at the workshop last Monday morning and by early afternoon he phoned us to say she was all and ready to pick up. What a brilliant job he has done,my mini looks like new,been smiling ear to ear since we picked her up. So glad we found Charlie,such a pleasant and knowledgable guy,would definitely recommend him,and we know where to go for and help or advice in the future. Thanks Charlie."

"I do not normally write reviews but in this instance feel it 100% necessary. The service provide by Charlie of HoodTech was impeccable to say the least. He resolved something I had been told was basically impossible by my BMW specialist garage, BMW themselves and a number of other garages I approached before finding HoodTech whilst searching the internet to undertake this specific repair / replacement roof on my E93 BMW M3. Long story short my hardtop folding roof was damaged by a garage I trusted and had used for years who replaced the roof motor. The damage consisted of the main frame (not roof shells) being bent thus meaning the roof would no longer fold into the boot. The damage was irreparable as inspected by BWM and others. With Charlie's help I sourced an entire salvaged E93 roof from a BMW breakers yard, new roof motor / pump mechanism and had them shipped to Charlie. He then went about removing my roof including the frame in it's entirety (see photo). The replacement salvaged roof was then installed onto my vehicle and the shells swopped over to my originals. The complexity of this as you can imagine if you have ever properly watched one of these roofs fold away is a nightmare job to undertake particularly with salvaged parts from other vehicles! It took 2+ days to complete the work and Charlie kept me updated throughout with progress photo's / Videos etc. All I can say is that I now have my M3 back as it was with original shells and a fully working roof now tested for a number of months. The price to undertake the work was certainly fair and reasonable and the attention to detail and his service was as noted above first class! Thanks again for your help which was over and above (picking me up for collection of the car), knowledge and skill to resolve what others had said was impossible! I cannot recommend HoodTech (Charlie) highly enough. Kind regards David."
