"Have passed here so many times as used to work locally and live in nearby Bromley. Always wanted to check it out. Popped in for lunch with my Mum after a hospital appointment and was very happy with the food, service and the pot of tea! Uniquely British with fine attention to detail and quality. I've seen some reviews here about being overpriced, but I would far rather pay more to eat nice food than go to a greasy spoon. I thought it was reasonably priced given the high standards. It is a very busy cafe but then it is always full of customers... Because it is popular. We chose to sit outside for more space on our visit. I thought it was fabulous!"
"The Drawing Room was an absolute delight serving by far the freshest pastries and sandwiches I've ever had in an afternoon tea (all baked daily on the premises). We booked a table for 2 o'clock in the afternoon which was a busy time and boy was I impressed by how well drilled, motivated and courteous all the staff were. Food of this quality served to this high standard can only be the result of absolute dedication and a true labour of love by the owner of this establisment....hats off and now a firm favourite of ours."
"Birthday afternoon tea for my partner. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I accidentally dropped some brownie crumps on my white dress and one of the staff (I think it's the owner's daughter) saw it and immediately brought a clean wet wipe. That's what you call being attentive and kind!"
