"Previously rated 5 stars and reviewed (as seen below). Had a bad experience where I ordered a 'to good to go' bag and turned up (after arranging my whole day and meal planning around the order) only to be told unapologetically that the shop was shut for the day (?due to cleaning?). Instead of the person apologizing for not removing it from the system themselves in advance, I was informed that I needed to cancel it myself. ---------- Had a really tasty pastrami bagel and roasted veg sandwich. And the chocolate cookie was to die for. Plus the guys who work there are super friendly!!!"
"I can only find one word for this Cafe, excellent!!!! We tried different kind of sandwiches, cakes and pies. They were all delicious with the best quality and taste and combination of ingredients. We tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian and they were all great and tastes excellent. What I like very much is the breads that are processed very well. Whoever prepares the food has a very good style in combining delicious materials in a proper way. We also enjoyed the tart and cup cakes, one lemon one is my favorite. This is a very small Cafe near the Hornsey station, which needs to be more better introduced to people. The prices are reasonable and covers the quality and taste of their products. I recommend to order some delivery from them in case you can not attend personally and order in the venue. We tried the delivery and we were really satisfied especially when we did not want to order fast foods. We found new tastes here! Hope you enjoy too."
"I got a few different kinds of beigels and pastries from them. The staff was friendly and all of the foods were tasty! I liked the pastrami beigel sandwich the best, and also enjoyed the custard egg tart too."
"The best part about London winters n Lockdown is that while you freeze bracing the cold you can get a warm cup of coffee or tea to enjoy those cold walks! Had no intention of getting a coffee. Sunday morning... passed the famous Agora Cafe which had a big queue outside so didnt stop there. Then walked past Le Petit and realised it was empty and thought the staff would use a cheer up! So popped in and was greeted by lovely Shanti/ Shanty. She brewed me a mocha while I looked around the beautiful n abstract art on the wall. The cakes looked delicious but I am a baker myself so have stopped eating store bought cakes. Very clean and tidy place. Coffee- mmmh... honestly, it lacked the chocolate Mocha I was looking for, was slightly milky for my taste but the quality n quantity for just £2.50 was worth it. So I picked my cup. Waved at Shanty and continued my walk. As I stepped out another woman was waiting to step in. Well that was really nice as just like Agora, people were coming to Le Petit too. I know it’s get difficult for local cafes when they have competition around but dont they all need a cheer up from us!!!❤️"
