Reviews of The Fleet Street Press
"Stopped in here Saturday morning with some friends, plenty of room downstairs. My wife and I both commented on the great coffee, although friends not so impressed with their tea. Also a good price, especially for London"
"Adorable little hidden coffee gem in the depths of an area with nothing but not high quality coffee chains. From the friendly greeting of the workers to the calm atmosphere — this place has no flaws. Would highly recommend their flat white with oat milk!"
"Great little place for high quality coffee in an area with not too many options. The interior is welcoming and well presented given that it is fairly compact. I tried the iced americano which had lovely lingering sweetness. Recommended and I will be back again to sample more"
"The first time to walk around the Fleet Street, I was astonished since it looks like a street full of the stunning church constructions, the monuments and statues, which have a power left me in awe. Cannot believe this street was existed since the Middle Ages and it is also proved the history of printing and publishing of Britain. Just imagine numbers of journalists and typewriters frequently appeared around at that time. This time I checked The Fleet Street Press, a cute coffee shop along the Fleet street with a name really makes sense….haha… London Coffee Shop for Digital Nomads-9 The Fleet Street Press Category: Artisanal Independent WIFI: Reliable, free to use (need to ask for the code) Seating: Actually at the beginning, I felt a little disappointed since it looks so cram….and dim inside, though you will feel surprised when you walk in. It still can accommodate 15 seats on the ground floor, then I think the main reason is that the layout is long and thin shape. However, downstairs there are a wonderful basement, with plenty of tables and outlets for you to work the day away. Almost you could have a power point near your seat. Cool stuff… Toilet: One for Unisex Ambience: Not so many people occupy the seats here, so you could always find a seat, especially downstairs, good news for remote workers. Cost: Coffee £2.2-£3.4, Tea £2.2-£2.4, Hot Chocolate £2.8-£3.4 Need to pay extra for milk. Something Special about the cafe: (1) They display London Press Photograhers’ works and sell them; (2) The coffee shop has a basement downstairs, which is full of sofas, armchairs and round tables, with a nostalgic style. Cramped but cosy. Problems: The narrow layout and limited space"
"Friendly service and an excellent almond milk cappuccino. Really sizable compared to more hipster locations but perfect foam and a “fruitier” espresso blend which was really nice. Lots of seating and not crowded on Saturday around noon. They also offer beans to go."
