"Closing time is wrong!! I went there around 20.00 and it was closed. I walked 25 min to get there because it looks lovely in the pictures. Not coming back!"
"Convenient for a quick meal, if unremarkable too. Small buffet of daily fresh selections to choose from, served in a cardbox with disposable fork and knife. Has the cold feeling of an airport cafeteria, or an uninspired NYC deli."
"Only popped in for a coffee on rainy day, but very pleasant place to dry off for 30 minutes, staff were very friendly."
"Consistently terrible service and staff. Came in at 7:56AM to pick up some breakfast - doors were *open*, all the food was laid out on the counter and there 4-5 staff milling around - some on the table doing nothing.* I was told abruptly by a lady "we don't open till 8", as if in those magical 4 minutes something was going to change. Why are the doors open if you're not ready to serve? My company was located in adjacent St Magnus House for a few years. I've been in to the cafe several times and I can honestly say every time is an awful experience: - last time I was told to wait 2 minutes for a new batch of scrambled eggs to be ready. 10 minutes later - nothing. I asked what was going on and the lady just shrugged "we don't have any". - Routinely came in and either 1) people from nearby offices just hold meetings there for hours with no food, taking all the seats for eating/paying customers 2) the (what I presume ) is the manager takes up a whole table with his laptop and documents preventing customers having a seat. - Come in at 1:30 (which is still ostensibly lunch time) and most the food is gone."
"Great small selection of food. There's a main dish available, with multiple options for salad. Food changes almost daily, with similar themes every week. After work, the cafe also duals as a bar."
