"I didn't expect to visit here but as my belts broke on the car it was fate. I couldn't have asked for a nicer mechanic though. Even before I asked him if he could do the job, as I would have had to call a breakdown service to tow my car to another garage otherwise, as my car was going no where, he kindly had a look & gave advice with absolutely no pressure to do the job, in fact he even recommended another garage as he literally was full of car waiting to have various jobs. Regardless, I asked if he would do it & as he was exceptionally busy here advised that it would be a while & I fully expected the car to stay until the following week, especially as it was not booked in, etc. However, the following day he rang me & to my utter surprise & extreme pleasure, it was ready! I was over the moon & made a journey to collect it asap! So from my point of view, I would recommend Whittles Garage to anyone & if your car is going to break down on you, it cannot choose a better place to do so! David is friendly, fast & fab too! So if you need your car repaired, give him a call, he will be straight with you about the estimated cost, the estimated time (although he could surprise you & have it ready sooner) & he will advise you of any possible future issues but purely out of decency, & not in order to try to push your bill up, etc like some garages may do. Whittles Garage is a decent garage that I highly recommend but don't just take my word, try it yourself!"
