"Second time I have used Josh at north west turbos , first time was a couple of months ago after my turbo went faulty, took it here and felt reassured by Josh he could repair it instead of a new turbo, which was a blessing as a new one was very expensive, he replaced the seals and got it back to normal, second time was just yesterday, the car was blowing smoke again, and I thought it was definitely the turbo , Josh again resured me , and said bring it in as it’s still under warranty what he done in November 2021 Took it yesterday, got it back today, it was the d f p filter totally blocked, the price in total was £420 , which I pleased about, as this car I have given my daughter, as I explained to Josh her situation, she only goes the school, shopping, and a park , he’s explained to me it needs to run once a week on the motorway to clear it , Josh thanks again for you honestly To anyone who is looking at the terrible review, please ignore that , as I’ve used him twice and a brilliant service I have had Thanks again Josh"

"Although a while ago now, during the first Covid lock down, the Turbo on my Golf GTi blew. North West Turbo's sorted my car without any hassle and for a truly great prices. The Turbo is still working perfectly today. I can't stress how professional and friendly they were. I would highly recommend them and will use their skills again for sure."

"I can't warn people enough about my terrible experience. I would strongly recommend everyone avoid and go to a garage with more experience. I brought my car here with a turbo issue. Paid over £600 (which he insisted was paid in cash) for him to make my car worse!! Josh then refused to admit he had made it worse and refused to acknowledge it was still a turbo problem. I had to get my car recovered to another garage as it wasn't drivable. With 2 independent second opinions with reputable garages the car was diagnosed with a faulty turbo... still!!!! I had to threaten legal action before Josh would acknowledge any wrong doing. I had the new garage fit a second hand turbo and the car was fixed... no thanks to Josh at North West Turbos. Avoid avoid avoid. If I could leave 0 stars i would. The company is run by a young sole operator with "all the gear but no idea". There is no substitute for experience. Find a reputable mechanic with plenty of experience, because you won't find that here. Not only did he leave my car worse off than when I drove it in, he had shocking communication skills. He never answered calls, messages or kept me informed/ up to date with anything. It took 2 independent reviews and the threat of legal action before he stopped avoiding me and dealt with the issues he created."

"I heard noise from the Turbo of my car, took it to a mechanic and the man said that there was really a problem there and advised me to take it to an authorized turbo service station to repair it. I found that service that only deals with this and explained to the mechanic about the noise and that I don't know if it's from the turbo charger or from the turbo pipes. The man assured me that he would find the problem and fix it. After 4 days in the service the car was "ready" for the modest if 650 pounds I left the service happy. 3 minutes later I started to hear this noise again but louder, my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and the car lost power and overheated. I stopped, waited, and because I didn't believe this was happening, I decided to go to the friend and home.. Arriving at the parking on my friend , after I was so fast that a bicycle could pass me, I saw that the car was so hot that the water was boiling. I immediately called the mechanic and he came to the scene to look and tell me that he did not know why and that it was not his fault, because he had nothing to do with the water pump or anything and he told me to take the car to service somewhere. he refused to return her to his because he was not to blame for all this. I managed to take her slowly to the nearest service station, where they would diagnose her for another 50 pounds. There the mechanic check the car and he set everything what happens it was from the turbo mechanic and his fould. He did not take the air out from the turbo hose, which caused the car to overheat and the water to boil, and also the turbo pipe have torn, which is why I have no power and the repair will be another 250 pounds. Also the paint on the back and the mask of the car are all torn, I don't know how ... and without polishing it won't clean it, the upholstery and it is in greasy stains ... I called the mechanic on my Turbo and i told him everything what he did wrong and now need to be fixed , and I wanted to take responsibility and now pay for the repairs that I have to do after its repair, but he is not agree and he set no... now i dont want to take my car back to him to repair again "cheap" just the pipe and i have to pay again alot money to fix my car after him... and i still have a problem with my turbo... i upload photos how i get back my car and on the car wash this scratches didnt gone wich is more money for polishing... god know what he did it there... DONT TRUST THEM!"
