Reviews of Crescent Theatre
"I've see performances at the Crescent numerous times over the years but after seeing a very good production of The Girl on the Train in the main house, I was struck by the fact that the Crescent in Birmingham must be one of the most modern, spacious and well equipped amateur theatres anywhere in the country. There always a good selection of productions put on throughout the year to a high standard, comfortable auditorium and well stocked bar. Go and see stuff here and #supportthearts"
"Just want to say how I thoroughly enjoyed the play ' A Taste of Honey' at the Rob Barber Studio on Saturday 11th February. The whole cast were superb . The play though serious regarding the dysfunctional relationship between mother & daughter & their involvement with other characters & differing circumstances, had a comedic element to it.. 8 out of 10."
"Hannah was fabulous at Bottomless Brunch! She kept us topped up and was super friendly and fun. Deffo recommend bottomless brunch here! Food was ace too, I had the Pad Thai and it was delicious!"
"At first not good, I was in a wheelchair, got made to wait while the usher got most of the que into there seats was told no room for wheelchair so could I manage about five steps which I did with difficulty, but what I hadn't been told was how often I would need to stand up and sit back down .it was very awkward and painful. At the interval my daughter had a strong word with the ushered and eventually I was allowed to have my wheelchair in the wheelchair space which had not had a wheelchair on it all the first half. The disabled facilities are very poor."
"Great theatre ! Plays, musicals, concerts are regularly held in the premises.they have a bar also. Staff is accomodating. Worth visiting!"
