"Would never recommend anyone to go here, did Level 3 IT here for a year and it was the worse experience of my life, was told we would learn stuff that we never did, had a teacher who didn't mark the work until the last day of the year. Throughout the second year we had a teacher who on their first day tried fighting a student. Got a massive donation for no reason since all the tech they bought you don't actually use. There is no way they call themselves the best college in cheshire."

"Don't go here. I would give 0 stars, but that isn't possible. I have been doing an apprenticeship. I have had no tutor for a total of 6 months of the course (I'm 12 months in) and had a total of two lessons. I regret going to Macclesfield Collage. Go somewhere else instead"

"The humanities dept are rabid Marxists who hate white men. I expressed my opposition to Marxist ideology in an essay when I mentioned that Marxists murdered an estimated 200 million people during the 20th century. I was belittled, humiliated and was told to resubmit essays as they weren't good enough. I was also told that I hate women and "don't know how it feels to be a woman", which is as ludicrous as it is slanderous, especially as I worked as an NHS NA. I felt forced to drop out after 3 months and was stung for 3k, a massive amount for a person on a low wage. I'm Jewish in fact but didn't tell them because I refused to play at their Machiavellian identity politics. I subsequently attended the excellent Manchester college where the head of English told me mine was some of the best work he'd seen in over 40 years of teaching. Stay away from Macclesfield College, it's a shakedown operation and not a safe place for boys who risk fake accusations from the personality disordered faculty."
