"Nice setting and good food. Service was friendly but a bit on the slow side. The order was also messed up a bit. We visited on a Sunday so it was very busy, but a Sunday on its own should not be an excuse or reason for slow service. Also was told at the door we must leave within 2 hours, even though we had a reservation. All in all it was good and would visit again."

"Came for Sunday roast today. Greeted at the door with a warm welcome and beautiful smile. Shown to the table which was near a heater ( good choice) Ordered the margarita cocktails, they were amazing, small critique- half the rim had salt other didn’t. Only minor thing. Ordered the starters, prawns and pate. Beautiful very well presented as you can see in photos. Tasted amazing. Main course 1 lamb 1 pork. Lamb was perfectly cooked and plenty on the plate. The pork was a good serving (mini joint). Both tasted phenomenal the veg and the roasters and parsnip were bang on. And the Yorker, just what was needed. Deserts Eaton mess and crème brûlée. Wow I’ll just have lamb and brûlée next time it was amazing. We will deffo be back. Staff were friendly and actually wanted to work unlike most staff in the industry. "The Ego is a nice restaurant located in Amersham. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The space is excellent and well laid out. It has a nice bar and love drinks. Sorry, no food pics here- but the food was delicious and served in style. The interiors are in excellent taste and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Loved the style with which the food was served."
