"Besses nursery!! Our daughter of 2 and a half years started at this nursery in............ things were ok at first nothing abnormal. Mostly just separation anxiety. Lots of crying because we was leaving her in a strange place. Which is normal. But as the months went by. Nothing changed. In fact my daughters personality totally changed. She went from being an amazingly bubbly, outgoing, very wise for her age little girl to being very shy, upset and scared. After 6 months of being at the nursery there was not one day she would not cry uncontrollably and scream she is scared. When I said "are you ready to go to school" there was an instant fear in her eyes and she would scream. One parricullar day she came home and said a girl made her bang her head. We asked the teachers what had happened and they had no recollection of any incident. We thought maybe our baby was just mistaken or something had happened but not serious. On a different occasion when our child was screaming that she doesn't want to go to nursery and that she was scared, I asked her why is she scared she then went on to tell us that another boy had been pushing her and she fell and it hurt!!!! Now we are not by any means oblivious to the fact that things are going to happen and kids push other kids etc. But when your child is scared to go to a place that she should love and look forward too and endeavour to learn and progress. Then alarm bells should ring. When we approached the teacher about the boy pushing our child and hurting her. She simply said "he is going through a phase". So not only was we not told about this other older child bullying our daughter, apparently it is just a "phase". Yet I wasn't made aware of this by any member of staff but they all knew it was going on. Now we have taken our daughter out or there and put her in a new nursery the change in her is unbelievable!!!!"
