"Headingley branch of Wilkos is a fairly consistent disappointment these days. Their shelves are always understocked. Even the most basic items you'd expect from a homeware and hardware store are more often than not out of stock. They cater entirely for the student population of Headingley, or whatever they think it is that the student population want to buy. Whereas at one time you could guarantee that the store would sell the stationery item you needed, a spool of thread, some safety pins, a roll of masking tape, some gardening gloves, almost anything you want, now you go EXPECTING it to be out of stock and getting the same response from staff: 'well we just get things in for students now'. Does the manager really think 18 year olds are the only people who live in Headingley? Theyre not even the majority population. And surely even an 18 year old student occassionally needs a safety pin or a roll of tape. Absolutely useless shop that every now and again and quite unexpectedly has what you need. So long as that thing is a plastic storage box. But fair enough, if Wilkos dont want to boost their sales by appealing to the majority of the local population, then that's their business I guess. Useless shop. (This is no reflection in the staff on the floor who are just doing their job.)"

"This store is very nice, although it is not large, like some Wilko's, but it is not small either, with a large selection of items over two floors, so it is quite handy. The prices are also very reasonable and is close to bus stops going in both directions with a handy crossing close by."
