"Usually quick delivery in and out once I find someone on the door."
"Excellent to deal with...very good staff."
"Purchased the Mirostone Solid Surface worktop. Although the sample looked fabulous, be warned that the finished product doesn't resemble the sample. They don't tell you when you receive the sample that the final product will look completely different. We chose Cosmic Gold Quartz where the sample was black, sparkling and shiny. The final finish was a grey/whitey matt finish with no sparkle. They don't tell you that Mirostone will easily scratch - they recommend you cover the worktop with surface protectors because the worktop isn't actually suitable for kitchen use. They don't tell you, you may need to change your entire crockery collection to prevent scratching. They don't tell you that you will need to learn to pick up everything from the surface and not pull it towards you. Try telling this to a child or a visitor who has no idea how to live with Mirostone ! This really isn't practical and quite ludicrous. Do not put a wine bottle down on Mirostone or face the consequences (bottles have rough bottoms we now know, which Mirostone can't tolerate). Mirostone do supply a spray product which temporarily hides scratches, but not only is this a daily exercise, it also wipes off. We purchased Mirostone thinking it was maintenance free (unlike wood worktop) but it's really not, and it's certainly not a "solid surface" as it scratches so easily. Unfortunately Blackheath used their book of excuses and were not prepared to take responsibility for any of our issues. We would certainly not recommend Mirostone or Blackheath and if we knew earlier, what we know now we would certainly have paid the extra and gone for granite or even oak worktop. We presently don't think the worktop will live the life time of the kitchen. Our independent fitters have been fantastic in trying to pick up the pieces, but we have all been let down by a duff product with equally duff after sales. Unfortunately the sample we received, which actually came from a fitter but via Mirostone, did not state on the back that the final colour of the worktop may vary from the sample. Nor did it say, not suitable for kitchens, nor did it say it would scratch, nor did it say we would need to change our crockery, nor did it say you need to learn not to pull items towards ourselves but pick them up. No literature came with the sample. It's a pity Blackheath won't take any responsibility. They have put our kitchen fitters and ourselves through alot of stress, expense and upset."
"Really disappointed that I was refused a refund on a product that arrived badly damaged. I wasn't there when it arrived at the workshop, when I opened the box I saw the damage and emailed immediately with images of the ripped laminate but was told that I'd missed the 24hr returns window! Beware using these people - or if you do make sure you inspect everything before the courier leaves. I lost a lot of money"
"Arrived to make booked collection a little early. They had me wait until a little after the booking time even though was first of the day! Then hey said they "had nothing for me". Sales had not arranged the collection only the booking time? Eventually, after a 30 minute wait, goods arrived to my van and the guys helping to load were courteous. During the wait they carried on dealing with other customers by and large ignoring distancing."
