"Super disappointed with the customer service in this store. I have been visiting this particular shop regularly for years. I have been twice in the last 2 weeks and those two experiences have put me off going back. The store is full of staff which is crazy because it took 30 minutes for us to be served at the till even though we were only second in line. The staff that were in the changing room looked me up and down and laughed to each other when I came out the changing room in one of the outfits I was trying on. As a whole the staff are rude, unfriendly and so unbelievably inattentive it’s shocking. There was one genuinely friendly and helpful member of staff. A blonde lady who I think is more senior as she came over to process a return for me."

"My sister and I we traveled from Spain Marbella to visit London and to shop from house of Cb, we love the dresses and we normally purchase online, we were very excited to visit the shop to try different outfits for the new year party . We had a 3 years old baby with us and the team on the shop they were very unprofessional asking us to leave the changing room because we had a baby, my sister was in the changing room and I was babysitting my Nephew as he was crying but the stuff they were puffing and giving us a look, they were rode and unhelpful. I can’t explain how disappointed we are with our experience in the shop."

"Staff were really attentive and helpful, Lois in particular was an absolute star! She was really helpful and made my shopping experience a lot less stressful. In the end I managed to find my birthday dress and left really excited."

"I was exceptionally happy with the customer service I’ve experienced in HCB today. Rattan was excellent with her service. She was super friendly and helpful with sizing and zipping with great advice. She made some great suggestions, some of which I've ended up buying. You've got a gem in your hands."

"Lovely clothes and the store was clean, neat and tidy. It’s a shame that such a lovely store could put paying customers off shopping there because of the attitude of staff. Whilst waiting to pay (bearing in mind at the time I was the only customer waiting to pay, the others were browsing clothes or waiting for fitting rooms) there were 3-4 members of staff on tills gossiping about other customers. I heard one of the girls behind tills asking her colleague “why’s she wearing that?” When talking about another customer, which isn’t very professional or polite, especially if you’re judging customers who have come to shop in your store, it can make people feel uncomfortable and make you unapproachable. When I was called over to tills by the young lady who served me, she seemed to serve me like it was a chore or inconvenience to her, which made me want her to hurry up and serve me so I can leave her in peace. She then questioned me, asking what I’d wear the clothes with, in a tone that came off a little rude, almost as if I didn’t provide a good enough answer, I wouldn’t be able to complete my purchase. I then went ahead to tell her that it all depended on the event as some of the clothes I bought were more occasion wear and others were more casual so that I could dress them up or down depending on the occasion. She seemed to look at me like she wasn’t expecting me to say that. I’m not sure if this sort of attitude and facial expressions was intentional but it can make her seem a little rude. I think next time I’ll just order online"
