"My first encounter with Blackhorse Lane Ateliers was purchasing a pair of NW1 jeans from a fabulous shop called Burrows and Hare in Oxford last year. I had become bored with jeans that either didn't fit or didn't last so I hadn't bought a pair of jeans prior to these in nearly 20 years. I was so impressed by the design and durability of the NW1's that when I found myself in London I headed to the shop at Coal Drops Yard where I was warmly welcomed by Wil and Lilly. Wil, with his understated wealth of knowledge and personable manner, guided me through the extensive selection of jeans and enabled me to settle on a pair of E5's, I am wearing them now Wil. I couldn't resist purchasing a poster as well as the The Two Ears Brand Poem bandanna. Thirty minutes later, and a quick pint at Little Creatures Brewing for me, Wil had altered the jeans to the correct length and I was on my way. I wish I had realised the benefits of becoming a 'member' and the potential 20% saving, oh dear.
